Fira de Santa Llúcia

The Fira de Santa Llúcia registers its first date in 1786, also known as the “girls fair”as stories tell that the young single ladies from the surroundings wore their best galas and accompanied by their mothers used this event to find a husband.

Even though the Fira is celebrated during one month, Santa Llúcia day falls on the 13th December, a day when a lot of people go to the cathedral to light a candle in the chapel.
